TRIBUTE DINNER HUGE SUCCESS!
email Steve Bull

Graham Turner, Andy Mutch, Andy Thompson, Robbie Dennison, John Richards, Peter Baker (Golfer), Suzi Perry (TV Presenter), Richie Woodhall (Boxer) Mike Stowell, Bob Hall & Jenny Wilkes joined 300 guests to pay tribute to Steve Bull on his 20th Anniversary at Wolves.

"I felt embarrassed to sit on a top table with so many of my good friends. I was overwhelmed with the turnout, not only from my top table guests but from all the corporate clients, fans, friends & family that joined me on such a special night."

"It was great to catch up on the old times and I had a few beers with Mutchy when we got back to my house - unfortunately I had to put him up overnight! Only joking Mutchy."

"To see the gaffer(Graham Turner), Denno (Robbie Dennisson), Stowelly (Mike Stowell), JR (John Richards), Suzi, Richie Woodhall & Pete Baker was fantastic and we had some great laughs on the top table."

"It was also nice to see my mum & dad on my special night. I would like to say a big thank you to my close friend Jim Sharma from Wednesfield Radio Cars who sponsored the night."

"We have had a superb response to the other forthcoming events and they are selling fast including the race night dinner at Dunstall Park, my annual golf day at Brocton Hall Golf Club & the World Cup Dinner at Bescot Stadium."

"We're close to finalising the details on my anniversary game with Wolves & the opponents and hopefully we'll be making an announcement soon."

"Once again, thank you to everybody that came to my Tribute Dinner and I look forward to seeing everyone at the next event at Dunstall Races."

WOLVES TO PLAY ANNIVERSARY GAME
email Steve Bull

Steve Bull MBE is synonymous with Wolves and the club has recognised his commitment and loyalty over the past 20 years by agreeing his request to host an anniversary game at the Molineux later this year..

The game, which is subject to finding a suitable date and opposition (further news on this in due course), will be the highlight of the anniversary year and has the full support of the Board and Manager, Glenn Hoddle.

Said Jez Moxey, Chief Executive at Wolves: “Steve has done more than most over the years to help Wolves both on the field and in the community. We are delighted to be supporting him during his anniversary year and hope to finalise the details on when the game will take place in the near future.”

Many other events have been planned including a launch dinner, golf day & race evening. There will also be an official anniversary shirt, commemorative DVD & anniversary brochure to mark this occasion.

As patron of locally based charity Promise Dreams, Steve is delighted that he has been able to adopt this national charity as his special ‘Partner of the Year’.

Steve Bull said, “I’m delighed that the club are giving me this game. I’m also over the moon to have an official partner so close to my heart. Promise Dreams is a very special charity and I try to do as much as I can to help the terminally and seriously ill children.”

Steve Walker and Suresh Bawa, Promise Dreams Trustees said, “On behalf of Promise Dreams we are absolutely delighted that Steve Bull, our charity's Patron and loyal supporter since we launched the charity in February 2001, has decided to appoint our charity Promise Dreams as the official partner for the Steve Bull Anniversary Year.”

“This is a natural extension of the working relationship that we have with Steve and will help immensely in not only raising additional funds, but also, more importantly, helping terminally ill and seriously ill children. ”

“On behalf of the Trustees and Promise Friends, we wish Steve tremendous success in his well deserved Anniversary Year. ”

Bully has had an amazing career scoring a record 306 goals for his club, he won 13 full international caps for his country, received an MBE from the queen, the John Ireland stand was re-named Steve Bull Stand in 2003 and is now a patron of a local children’s charity and an ambassador for the club.

Bully said, “I’ve had an amazing 20 years and I would like to thank all of the wolves fans for there support.”
