“Steve Bull – Now and Then” is a fascinating insight into Bully as he is now – business man, family man and newly appointed Honorary Vice President of the club he has loyally served for two decades – and his thoughts on how he was then – as a player for one of English football’s most famous clubs.
Mixing archive footage of some of Steve’s best goals with the definitive Bully interview, this essential release for football fans everywhere provides a glimpse of a footballer’s life after the final whistle has blown.
The cameras have been following Bully around from the press launch of his anniversary year to the anniversary match itself, a pre-season game between Wolves and local rivals Aston Villa.
Footage of Bully at work and with family and friends culminates with exclusive footage of his last 10 minutes as a footballer on the hallowed turf of Molineux and Steve’s take on the injury that forced him off the pitch and will mean he will not play football again.
The DVD documents Steve’s working life with his own events company and as an ambassador for Wolves, his tireless work as Patron for Wolverhampton based children’s charity Promise Dreams, his leisure time with family and friends.
We hear from ex-playing colleagues such as Andy Thompson and Andy Mutch as well as the man who brought Bully to Wolves, Graham Turner. Business colleagues and associates also have their say on the man himself. We also hear from the fans themselves, the people who have idolised and admired the player from the terraces and stands.
From the golf course to the race course, radio interviews to corporate events, Steve Bull is as busy now as ever before.
